Xiaomi gone crazy? New smartphones in Europe are shocking with the price

Quietly, and without much publicity, Xiaomi has introduced two new Redmi Note 12 series phones to Europe. I’m not surprised by the manufacturer’s approach, because both the Redmi Note 12S and Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G are just as interesting phones as Barcelona’s past El Clasico game.

Recently, I hosted the first Polish presentation of Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 family smartphones. I already knew that Xiaomi had not yet said the last word in this series.

Now, without such a fuss, Xiaomi has dropped two more phones on the European market like a cuckoo egg: Xiaomi Redmi Note 12S And Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G phone. Here’s everything we know about its specifications and pricing.

Xiaomi news is not new at all

Redmi Note 12S specifications can be described as follows: We have known it for a long time Redmi Note 11S phone in new packaging. A little more new brings Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G, which is Redmi Note 10 Pro With faster charging (67W) and a few other extras.

In short: Xiaomi copied itself. Even worse, all the information so far indicates that the seemingly more interesting Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G debuts with … 3 years old Android 11. This pairs perfectly with the old Snapdragon 732G processor.

I probably wouldn’t have chosen these Xiaomi clones if it weren’t for their European prices. This, of course, is not surprisingly low. The originals were often available for much better money.

Redmi Note 12S costs 289 euros, which after direct conversion gives us about PLN 1350. while Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is priced at €329which is approximately 1,540 Polish zlotys.

Here and now, in Polish stores, Redmi Note 11S in the 6/128 GB version It costs 1099 PLN. When it comes to the Redmi Note 10 Pro, we will be getting the 6/128 GB variant for PLN 1199.

So the price difference is huge. The best part is that in the past both older models could be purchased cheaper. We recently wrote about PLN 949 for the Redmi Note 10 Pro and about PLN 965 for the Redmi Note 11S.

I do not know if and maybe when the novelties discussed will appear in Poland. However, it seems to me that We don’t need this premiere.
