TVP revenue is declining, but finances are still better than plan

According to the report submitted to the National Media Council, accessed via the Wirtualnemedia.pl portal, Polish TV influence In the first three quarters, it decreased from PLN 2.6 billion to PLN 2.36 billion. TVP’s marketing revenue increased significantly year on year: advertising revenue – from PLN 428.2 million to PLN 489.4 million, and sponsorship revenue – from PLN 79.9 million to PLN 86.7 million. In turn, revenue defined as other increased from PLN 102.7 million to PLN 144.2 million (compared to PLN 112.7 million planned).

According to the portal, Telewizja Polska’s operating expenses in the past three quarters amounted to PLN 2.15 billion, up 24 percent. More than a year ago (1.73 billion PLN), 13 percent less than planned (2.47 billion PLN). The sender of the report calculated that the costs of personal salaries and contributions to the ZUS were 50.8 million PLN lower than the plan, fees and related contributions to the ZUS – by 32.6 million PLN, and programs from external producers – by 17 million PLN.
