Robert Lewandowski gave an interview to “Sport Bild” magazine. The 33-year-old spoke about his farewell to Julian Nagelsmann.

Lewis worked with this coach for one season. In previous competitions, the Polish sniper scored 50 goals for Bayern Munich.

Last weekend, Lewandowski said goodbye to the people of Munich. He also revealed what the coach had told him.

Julian spoke about my stay in Munich, and about the eight wonderful years I spent here. He said to me: “Leo, I wrote an interesting story here” – Lewandowski revealed in the pages of “Sport Belda”.

Nagelsmann also said he was an honor to have him work with me. It made me very happy. He wanted to thank me, even though I hadn’t signed a contract with Barcelona yet – The Polish striker added.

The Duma of Catalonia announced yesterday that it had signed a contract with Lewandowski. The 33-year-old is linked to the club with a contract valid until 2026.

On the other hand, Nagelsmann does not appear to be depressed by the pole’s departure. In a recent press conference, the Bayern coach admitted that now his team can be more flexible in attack. We write more on this topic over here.
