“The Stanley Cup will never happen in Vancouver”

Verbal fights, or “roasts” as we commonly call them today, always represent very interesting situations to listen to and analyze.

It's always nice to hear two people or two teams send well-constructed insults at each other.

It always puts a little smile on my face when it's good and it's well presented.

Additionally, when these insults or roasts involve sports, I find it more interesting because it infuriates the entire fan base.

I especially love Toronto Maple Leafs fries because you never tire of them and they're so easy to make.

However, I still enjoy them when they involve other teams.

Last night, the Vancouver Canucks got a good roasting while Logan Paul didn't hesitate to humiliate them.

He told the full crowd in Vancouver that his chances of seeing Quebec wrestler Kevin Owens defeat him in the finals of the 2024 Royal Rumble were about the same as seeing the Canucks one day win the Stanley Cup.

“That will never happen.” -Logan Paul

That was a nice roast from Logan Paul, especially after his victory over Kevin Owens in the first match of last night's SmackDown event, in front of a crowd in Vancouver.

Before Logan Ball even got the key phrase of his “roast” to utter the words that a Stanley Cup would never happen in Vancouver, the crowd went wild.

She knows exactly what's coming because the Canucks don't have a Stanley Cup to their name, and they haven't won since 2011.

It's probably the first season since 2011 that the Canucks have been a good team in the NHL, and it's safe to say that this season has been a surprise.

So, I don't know if Logan Ball is a hockey fan and follows it, but he's not picking a great year based on the Canucks comeback.

The reality is that Vancouver is still a long way from a potential Stanley Cup.

Anyway, let's first see if Kevin Owens can beat Logan Paul in their fight.

A lot

– Big win for the Rockets last night.
