Self-service payments are often chosen by customers in stores. All because their use is convenient and they can usually serve more people in a shorter time. However, since they are used by many people, many disease-causing bacteria can be found on them.

The results of the study were terrifying. According to studyfinds.org, scientists found, among other things, at self-service checkout: a large amount of fecal bacteria that can lead to urinary tract infections. All of the items tested contained E. coli bacteria in their stool and intestines, which can cause serious health problems. The team also found Candida albicans microbes on stair railings.
The self-examination samples had one of the highest bacterial loads, as we found five different types of disease-causing microbes on them, Dr. Adam Roberts, the team’s principal investigator, said in a statement to South West News Service.
Hand washing will prevent infections. Do it exactly
However, we don’t have to worry about getting infected with dangerous bacteria, as long as we remember to wash our hands regularly. According to scientists, this is the only effective and at the same time the simplest way to prevent the disease. It is essential to wash your hands thoroughly for about 20 seconds when you get home, before eating, after using the bathroom, and after working on a computer, especially if you work in the same space with other people.
How do you wash your hands? It sounds simple, but many of us still do it wrong. Soak your hands in warm water, then soap them well. It is not enough just to rub the inner and outer parts of the hands, you need to wash each finger and the spaces between them separately. After that, it is best to wipe your hands with a paper towel.

A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing.
