It was clear that they needed more time to polish some of the mechanisms or get rid of bugs, because in both cases we will be dealing with large open worlds – and these worlds have been suffering from bugs lately.

October, in turn, was not an option at all, because almost every week we get a high budget, which has a great opportunity to compete for prizes in different categories during The Game Awards 2022 or even GOTY 2022. I’m talking about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II or Bayonetta 3, Knights of Gotham, Overwatch 2, or A Plague Tale: Requiem, which could be the dark horse of the year. There was no place for another production here.

This is November and December. The beginning of the first is already dedicated to God of War: Ragnarok, and the gap can only be seen between November 15-25. It’s not that big, because on December 2 we’ll be able to check out Callisto’s Protocol, which also promises to be very good and I wouldn’t be surprised if players attack the Dead Space Heir to get fresh rolls in the bakery in the morning. So we got to the point that the second of the two “free dates” available is pre-holiday.

Hogwarts Legacy of Christmas? it was possible

At that time, Hogwarts Legacy was planned to be launched for the first time on the market. It looks like the Sony production will win the most big prizes. The new Call of Duty, although it will surely sell in a huge circulation, will not be anything new, Gotham Knights, although it looks better with every material, it is unlikely to deliver such high quality as a Santa Monica glove studio.. remains A Plague’s Tale: Requiem, which I called the Black Horse, is not without necessity.
