One UI 6 for the Galaxy S23 series in Poland! How to test?

A few weeks ago, Samsung offered owners of Galaxy S23 series smartphones a beta version of One UI 6 based on Android 14. At first, only interested people from the US, Germany and, of course, South Korea could test the software. But this time, we had to wait a very long time for the list of countries to be expanded by adding several more countries, including Poland, which is very important. How do you recognize the latest version of the Samsung interface now?

Beta has its own rules – a few words at first

Before we begin – a few important words. Tests are for the entire Galaxy S23 series i.e. Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The first thing you need to know is if you are interested in beta testing, back up your data. They should not be removed, but caution is always in order and Samsung itself highly recommends this step. Besides, I’m sure you haven’t made a copy in a long time, so it wouldn’t hurt to save your photos, documents, and everything else to disk, whether on your computer or in the cloud.

Equally important, the beta software may contain bugs and cause smartphone stability deficiencies. So, if you are not ready for this, do not install the trial version, because it does not make any sense.

After all, the beta version is for software testing, checking, reporting, and fixing any bugs until they are officially released by the manufacturer.

Knowing this, we can move forward. The following instructions are the official way to join the group of testers, which you can also find here Developers site.

How can I become a Samsung beta tester?

Basically, the individual steps are very simple, and getting to the pool of testers only takes a few minutes. The first thing we need to do is find the Samsung Members app on the smartphone – in this case the Galaxy S23 Ultra, because this model is currently in One UI 6 beta.

If for some reason we haven’t installed it, we can download it from Google Play or Galaxy Apps at any time. We log into the Samsung Members app, then click on the logo on the home page – it’s hard to confuse it with anything else.

After successful registration, follow the path: Settings – Software update – Download and installation. We wait a few minutes (or several dozen, as in my case) until the program is downloaded and the phone reboots. And that’s it – you’re done!

If you decide to beta test One UI 6, be sure to tell us how you feel in the comments 🙂
