The search is still ongoing for 15-year-old Lina, who left her family home in Plaine, France, on Saturday morning. She was supposed to meet her boyfriend. However, she did not arrive at the meeting. French media reported that since then, she has shown no signs of life. The search has not yet yielded any results.
The teen left home Saturday around 11:20. She headed to Saint-Blaise-La Roche train station, about three kilometers from her home in Plaine, to take the train to Strasbourg to meet her boyfriend. However, according to investigators’ findings, she did not board the train.
Her boyfriend, who did not notice the teenager getting off the train in Strasbourg, first called her parents, and at around 2 p.m., the police were informed of her disappearance. -I want to find my daughter. Like every mother, I want her to be close to me. It’s a lot of pain that I wouldn’t wish on anyone,” the teen’s mother said Monday afternoon. In a statement to BFMTV, her father described Lina as “a cheerful little girl full of life.” He added – I hope you are well and in good health.
– At around 11:20 (Lina – Editor) she sent a message to her boyfriend and that was the last time he contacted her – said the teenager’s mother.
The search has not yet yielded any results
The Saverne Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the case. The Public Prosecutor confirmed in a press release on Monday that “the preliminary results do not indicate that the girl ran away,” noting that “at this stage, there is no preferable evidence.” The agencies said that the missing teenager had no previous “family problems” that would explain her running away from home.
The services also prepared a description of the missing person. The teenager has light green eyes, medium-length brown hair, and a slim figure (he is approximately 1.6 meters tall and weighs 49 kg). At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a long gray dress, a white jacket, and white shoes.
The prosecutor’s office said that although about 380 people, search dogs, helicopters and drones participated in the search, they did not reach any results. Monday’s proceedings focused on the route Lina was supposed to take to the railway station. The search operation took place on Tuesday near a fish pond at the exit of the village, which the little girl had to cross to get to the train. Services continue to search.
As Le Figaro wrote, the 15-year-old’s social media will be analysed. According to the services’ results, the teenager has two accounts on Instagram and Facebook.
