Chairman Zakłady Azotowe “Puławy” is leaving.  There is a resignation

Before the “iron broom” of the new government came into force, the Azoti Group, its Bulawi branch was left without a president. “On February 12, 2024 The Company received a statement from Mr. Marcin Kowalczyk regarding his resignation from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company At the same time, he will be a member of the company’s Board of Directors as of February 13, 2024,” we read in the stock exchange announcement.

The company added that Marcin Kowalczyk did not provide a reason for his resignation.

On Wednesday, the “iron broom” enters Azote

This is important because it is the Supervisory Board that decides the composition of the company's board of directors. Therefore, the same scenario is expected to occur in Azote as in other major state-owned enterprises. The newly appointed Supervisory Board will dismiss the current Board of Directors. The vacant positions will be filled by candidates already selected by the new supervision.
