Before the “iron broom” of the new government came into force, the Azoti Group, its Bulawi branch was left without a president. “On February 12, 2024 The Company received a statement from Mr. Marcin Kowalczyk regarding his resignation from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company At the same time, he will be a member of the company’s Board of Directors as of February 13, 2024,” we read in the stock exchange announcement.

The company added that Marcin Kowalczyk did not provide a reason for his resignation.

Therefore, the same scenario is expected to occur in Azote as in other major state-owned enterprises. The newly appointed Supervisory Board will dismiss the current Board of Directors.
