Studios have long known that hit potential is high. Some companies have prepared for this possibility. One film crew has reportedly shot more footage with an actor who – if the strike ends – not be available in the fall due to series commitments.

Meanwhile, the situation with “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2” is a little different. The film crew took a break to give the stars time to promote the first installment of the movie, which just hit theaters. Because of the strike, the actors – M.
