Zelensky declared that the acceleration of the restoration of peace is the first task. He stressed that “our armed forces do it brilliantly. They repel the attacks of the occupiers. They launch counter-attacks. Our diplomats must continue their activities in all possible directions, and at all levels, formal and informal.”
Zelensky said the next set of sanctions against Russia should include a move away from Russian oil.
“In general, the democratic world must admit that money spent on Russian energy resources is actually money spent on destroying democracy,” Zelensky said.
“When these decisions are made, we will all be able to see the approach of peace,” the Ukrainian president concluded.
