Today, the first lucky ones started downloading the next generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Production will not fill PlayStation 5 discs, indicating that CD Projekt RED used Sony technology that handles file compression.

Yesterday we presented our first impressions of the next-gen release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and a few hours ago you could see the full list of improvements confirming that CD Projekt RED has greatly improved one of the biggest hits in recent years.

The premiere of the free update and the original version for current consoles and more powerful PCs will take place next week, but CD Projekt RED invited developers and journalists to test the game before the premiere.

Borys Nieśpielak, director of “We’re All Right” and one of the creators of the “Rock and Borys” podcast, confirmed that he has already received the code for the next generation The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PlayStation 5 and thanks to this we have learned the extent of the adventure.

“I mean, it takes a lot of space, 24.57GB downloads.”
