The end of a large shopping center in Wroclaw.  The owner is talking about demolition

Arkady Wrocławskie is located in the center of Wrocław, in ul. Silesian rebels. In a three-level gallery with an area of ​​30,000. m2 There are shops, restaurants, service points and a cinema. In addition, there are 11 floors of office space in Arkady Wrotsavsky. In March of this year, current owner Defilia announced the closure of the shopping centre. This is expected to take place in the first half of 2024.

This decision was to be influenced by the difficult financial situation related, among other things, to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as rising energy costs and inflation. In March 2022, the company sold another similar facility, SkyTower, which, in addition to the shopping center, included office space and apartments.

Arkady Wrotsavsky will be demolished

Negotiations with the buyer wishing to purchase Arkady Wrocławskie are still ongoing. Paweł Ruszczak also announced that in the coming months Develia will apply for permission to demolish the building. The history of this work is not yet known. The company is not communicating what will be located there. As reported by Wyborcza, there are unofficial voices about creating a multifunctional facility in place of Arkady, but it will be dominated by office space.
