Gonzalo Feo is the new coach of Legia Warsaw

34-year-old Portuguese Gonçalo Feiu has become the new coach of Legia Warsaw, and is under contract with the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Gonçalo Feio until March of this year. He led Motor Lublin, which was promoted from the Second League to the First League. He was an assistant coach for many years M. in. in Raków Częstochowa and Wisła Kraków, an analyst at Legia Warszawa and a coach at the Legia Warszawa Football Academy, where he started his coaching career.

– We identify Gonzalo Feiu as one of the best coaches of the younger generation in Poland, who has the right skills, ambition, knowledge and talent to lead teams with high ambitions. We really want to improve our current position in the table and continually develop the team and players – said Jacek Zielinski, Sports Director Legia Warsaw.

– Gonzalo Fellio became a coach at a very young age, completing the UEFA Pro Course and already gaining experience at several clubs. He is strongly development oriented and wants to develop the environment in which he works. I hope that its features and game idea will allow the team to unleash its potential and breathe new energy. We immediately start working and preparing for the next match – added Legia Warsaw sporting director.
