“I'm going to say it 50,000 times. decalisseYou're home, man! SentN****, decalisse», begins the Super C manager who gets angry at the person filming the scene for about 20 seconds.
According to our information, the employee in this line is Christian Paris. The event was held at Super C, located on Boulevard Cousineau in the borough of Saint-Hubert.
“We have launched an investigation and our teams have been on the case throughout the day. Obviously, these comments do not reflect the values of our company,” confirms magazine Genevieve Gregoire, Head of Communications, Metro.
Is the employee suspended?
According to the grocer, it is not known at this time whether the employee in the video has been suspended because the information is confidential.
“Right now we have few details, but know that we will take the appropriate steps,” said Mme Gregory.
The latter said the investigation was also aimed at understanding what led their employee to use the “N-word”. So the origin of the clash is still unknown, as is the identity of the person who recorded the footage.
However, towards the end of the 20-second video, we hear Christian Paris saying that he can't go to his “back shop”.
