Dark Reel Hits DVD This March

Giving a whole new meaning to the “cutting room floor”is the blissfully bloodyDark Reel, on DVD March 10 from North American Motion Pictures.

Adam Waltz (Edward Furlong, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, American History X, the upcoming Night of the Demons remake), an avid movie fan, has won a walk-on role in a film produced by studio chief Connor Pritchett (Lance Henriksen, Aliens, The Terminator, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Appaloosa) and featuring Tara Leslie (Mercedes McNab, TV’s Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Hatchet).

Thinking his luck has changed, Adam suddenly finds himself the star in a real-life struggle to survive a murderous, behind-the-scenes killing spree and Pritchett’s low-budget thriller suddenly buzzing with publicity. As Detective Shields (Tony Todd, the Candyman series, Final Destination, Platoon) searches for answers, will Adam live or will he end up as a final cut?

Played at 13 film festivals, including Shriekfest 2008 and Chicago Horror Film Fest 2008. Dark Reel is presented in widescreen with an aspect ratio of 1.78:1. Special features include “Making of” featurette; deleted scenes; letterbox presentation; and trailers.
