Jastrzębski Wegiel smashed ZAKSA!  Three sets in the first match of the PlusLiga Final

In the first game, after an equal start, Jastrzębians gained the advantage (10:7). ZAKSA tried to chase the score, but when Stephen Boyer offered an ace, the score was 17:12. The guests eventually cut their losses, but the most effective attacking volleyball players from Jastrzębski Węgiel kept their advantage. The set is closed by Trevor Clivenott with a block (25:20).

The second batch had a similar scenario. An even start and a clear advantage for Jastrzębians in the middle part (15:11 after ace Clevenot). Later we watched the chase of the ZAKSA volleyball players who called (19:18), but made two mistakes in the subsequent actions. The hosts again put the advantage in the end, the score was recorded at 25:20 by the serving player Yuri Gladyr.

The third set also saw a point-by-point battle early on. This time, the Kdzierzyn residents kept in touch with their rivals for a longer period. However, Boyer showed the ace again and the hosts were leading 17:14. ZAKSA volleyball players didn’t give up, they fought to the end, but this time, the main actions fell to Jastrzębski Węgiel. After a stunning save by Tomas Fornal, they jumped back by three points (21:18). The groom also won the match ball (24:22), and the spoiled service to the guests ended the match (25:23).
