Intel nie będzie sprzedawać układów graficznych Xe-HP (Arctic Sound). Producent koncentruje się na jednostkach Xe-HPG i Xe-HPC

The history of Intel Xe graphics cards goes back a few years. Although we did not get the layouts for the players, the situation is quite dynamic and from time to time new information about new blue units appears, including more advanced ones. At one time, powerful Xe-HP chips (literally) also known as Arctic Sound, built with cloud or transcoding solutions in mind, made a huge impression. A total of three variants were created, which included one, two or four tiles, and the official presentation was held in August of last year. Interestingly, he was later lost to hearing their news. Today we have the end of October 2021 and only now we know that they have been silent towards them for a reason…

Xe-HP units will not be marketed and will not be approved for sale. The systems were implemented in Intel’s internal OneAPI cloud server and used to build software for OneAPI and Aurora.

Intel ARC – We know the approximate prices of two Alchemist graphics cards. It may be more expensive than we initially thought

This news may be quite surprising because the manufacturer has certainly spent a lot of time and money developing these products. It is unfortunate that they were somewhat wasted, but it is worth noting that these systems were intended for a very narrow application and there were very few people or companies who planned to buy an Arctic Sound system. Therefore, it does not matter much to us, ordinary mortals, although it is worth noting that nothing has changed in the case of consumer ARCs, which should appear on the market in a few months.
