Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Vanguard from Ricochet Anti-Cheat. We know the details of the new security features

The creators of Call of Duty have long been battling cheaters who destroy ordinary players in the next installments of Activision shooter. The publisher previously announced work on the new technology and we just received details of Ricochet Anti-Cheat. Both Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Vanguard will make use of the tools.

The developers of Call of Duty announced yesterday that they intend to soon eliminate the problem of cheaters on COD servers, and we have just received specific details of the new technology. Developers point out that cheating on servers is frustrating for players, developers and the entire community, so Teams “have made great strides in addressing this persistent problem” and announced the Ricochet Anti-Cheat Program:

“RICOCHET Anti-Fraud Initiative is a multifaceted approach to fraud tackling, featuring new server-side analytics tools to identify fraud, improved fraud investigations, updates to enhance account security, and more. RICOCHET anti-fraud protection will be delivered with Call of Duty : Vanguard and later this year with the Pacific update for Call of Duty: Warzone.”

Ricochet Anti-Cheat is not only about server changes. The developers also took care of the engine at the kernel level, and this proposal will be introduced initially in Call of Duty: Warzone. The driver will help you identify cheaters instantly and will enhance the overall security of your servers.

This technology (kernel) will only be proposed on PC, but console players will also feel its power thanks to cross-platform duels – now we won’t encounter cheaters on consoles either. In the future, the driver will also be introduced in Call of Duty: Vanguard.
