The Chief Health Inspector announced the recall of certain batches of Eau Yeah ice cream due to the use of an ingredient contaminated with ethylene oxide in its production. “Do not eat the set of products specified in the advertisement” – it was stated.
According to Tuesday’s announcement, the chief health inspector was informed by the Food and Feed Early Warning System (RASFF) that Udea BV was withdrawing certain batches of Eau Yeah water ice cream due to the use of an ingredient contaminated with ethylene oxide.
In the GIS information it was indicated that ethylene oxide is a substance harmful to health, and the presence of this substance in food is not allowed in the countries of the European Union.
GIS announced that the distributor of the ice cream sets indicated in the advertisement in Poland – Bio Planet SA – immediately after receiving information from the supplier took steps to withdraw the indicated products from the market.

The head of the Public Health Inspectorate informed that “the state health inspection bodies are monitoring the process of recalling the above-mentioned batch of ice cream from the market.” “You should not eat the set of products specified in this communication” – added.
Earlier, in early September, the head of the Public Health Inspectorate issued a public warning about Lots of Spiderman and Frozen 2 Olaf ice cream – Also due to the use of a component contaminated with ethylene oxide in its production.
