Marius Romak will be fired. He will be replaced by his current assistant

Mariusz Romak must take into account that these are his last hours as head coach of Lech Poznań. As Głos Wielkopolski reports, his fate has already been decided. The team will be led by Rafael Janas, Romak's current assistant, until the end of the season.

Marius Romak's move to Lech went well. He scored a victory over Zagłębie and was the first to conquer “Białystok Castle” this season. But since then, unexplained things started happening. Lech began recording embarrassing or simply stupid defeats:

  • A premature farewell to the Polish Cup at the hands of Pogoń Szczecin;
  • wciry 0:4 from Rakov;
  • Goalless draw with Gornik.
  • Goalless draw with Staal.
  • wciry 1:2 with Puszcza.

There was an air of suspicion among the community surrounding the club. The team under Rumak's leadership was not developing, and despite accepting the temporary nature of the current season, no one expected a complete withdrawal from the championship race, and the current results are what led to that.

According to Głos Wielkopolski, Rafael Janas will lead the battle for the champion until the end of the season. Current assistant Marius Romak is a natural choice given his familiarity with the current team.
