What about unemployment in Poland?  Is it rising or falling?

Eurostat (European Statistical Office) published the latest unemployment data for EU countries on Thursday. It follows from them In December 2023, the average unemployment rate was 5.9%. Countries using the euro fare worse, with an average of 6.4%. In both cases, the indicators remained unchanged compared to November.

In many countries we have seen a seasonal increase in the number of unemployed people. Interestingly, it was different in Poland. Eurostat estimated the unemployment rate in our country at 2.7%. Compared to 2.8 percent recorded a month ago. 3,000 people lost their jobs. The unemployed, who totaled 476,000 in December.
