“Thunderbolts”: Ayo Edebiri leaves the movie.  The producers found an alternative
Ayo Edebiri, known from the TV series “The Bear,” has left the cast of Marvel’s “Thunderbolts,” and has been replaced by Geraldine Viswanathan (“Miracle Workers,” “Guardians of Virtue”).

At the moment, it is not known what character Edebiri was supposed to play. The actress reportedly quit the project due to scheduling conflicts. Let's remember that a few weeks ago, Steven Yeun also left the film crew for the same reason. It is said that he, in turn, will be replaced by Lewis Pullman.

What do we know about “thunderbolts”?

“Thunderbolts” tells the story of a group of villains used by the US government as a special operations unit.

“Thunderbolts” will star Florence Pugh (as Yelena Belova) and Sebastian Stan (as the Winter Soldier). They will be accompanied by David Harbor (as Red Guardian), Wyatt Russell (as U.S. Agent), Hannah John-Kamen (as Ghost), Olga Kurylenko (as Taskmaster), and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine). The cast also includes Harrison Ford, who will take over the role of Thaddeus Ross from William Hurt.

TV veteran Jake Schreier (“Kidding,” “Shameless – Niepokorni”) will be at the helm of the project. The screenplay was written by Eric Pearson.

Filming is scheduled to begin in March. The premiere is scheduled for July 25, 2025.
