Baldur’s Gate 3 is gearing up for a December release on Xbox Series Successful sales authors shared with us their closest plans.

We already know what Larian Studio has done in the next update for Baldur’s Gate 3. Patch 5 will mainly introduce bug fixes that reduce the frame rate/performance of the game. This patch will be released this week.

“Patch 5 is really big, and we’re already at the point where we’re starting to talk about it. I can now say that we’ve discovered a bug that’s causing performance slowdowns. The bug has already been fixed and the fix will appear in Patch 5. And this is just the beginning of what’s new,” Michael said. “Doss, Larian Team Leader, we’re preparing for you this week.”

It turns out that boxed versions of Baldur’s Gate 3 will hit the market immediately with Update 5 installed, so new buyers won’t have to download anything when the game launches.

“The Xbox Store Edition, which contains three discs in a box, will be released immediately with patch 5 downloaded. We are working on making it the same as the boxed version on PS5.”

We are waiting for confirmation of the release date of Baldur’s Gate 3 on XSX. Maybe this information It will be revealed at The Game Awards 2023 (December 7).
