Montenegro had imposed sanctions on 34 Russia. Only one’s property was frozen

Former Interior Minister Filip Adzic announced in June last year that the authorities, in line with European policy, had frozen 44 properties belonging to 34 Russian citizens subject to sanctions. This information was included in the European Commission report.

Radio Free Europe reported that “property owned by only one Russian has actually been frozen.” “The sanctions lists contained names and surnames, but only part of the date of birth. Appropriate decisions were issued in the case of the people on the list, but it later turned out that the decisions concerned the wrong people with the same name and surname.” The administration explained, citing the station.
