Matthew Perry’s death: “Many are in shock”

Reactions are mounting following the death of “Friends” actor Matthew Perry at the age of 54.

Chandler marked an entire generation by appearing in the comedy series that aired on NBC between 1994 and 2004 as Bing.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the American-Canadian was found dead in the bathtub of his Los Angeles home.

Met by the Reuters news agency on the famous “Hollywood Boulevard”, fans of the “Friends” series said they were “sorry” by his death, while recalling his great talent.

“He is one of my favorite characters. His humor was good and I grew up watching the episodes. I am very saddened to know that he has passed away,” said the 24-year-old from California.

“His death is very sad. It happened so suddenly, many are shocked and sad to hear. It will make many viewers watch the series again,” said the Los Angeles resident.

Late Saturday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a surprising revelation about his relationship with the Canadian-born actor.

The latter attended the same school as Perry, he testified in a short message broadcast on social network X.

“The death of Matthew Perry is tragic and heartbreaking. I will never forget our school games and I know that people around the world will never forget the joy you brought them. Thanks for all the laughs, Matthew. You were loved and you will be missed.

The “Friends” series was a huge hit with viewers, especially after its arrival on Netflix, which gave it a new lease of life.
