XREAL has introduced a new version of augmented reality glasses, thanks to which players will be able to check the production on a stunning 330-inch screen. The equipment is headed to market, so we learned some details.
The XREAL Air 2 and XREAL Air 2 Pro are the latest devices from a manufacturer that wants to offer users a big, premium image, but doesn’t intend to force customers to use giant equipment. In this case, all the technology is crammed into augmented reality glasses.
The equipment presented aims to “change everything the user sees” a Those interested in wearing the XREAL Air 2 or XREAL Air 2 Pro will get an image with a diagonal of up to 330 inches. When designing the equipment, the company used ZMicro-OLED displays with a higher pixel density than in the previous model, but at the same time engineers managed to improve the brightness and color reproduction.
XREAL notes that its proposal is “The world’s first AR glasses with the latest 0.55-inch Micro-OLED display from Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation.”
The Full HD display resolution of 1920 x 1080 per eye, an ultra-high contrast ratio of 100,000:1 and a brightness of 500 nits ensure that content is displayed in stunning detail – says the manufacturer.
If you choose the ‘Pro’ model, you will be able to use dimming technology – where the user can, for example, completely block the outside image or let in about 35% of the light from the room.
