The European Union is preparing a “Statement of Objections” to Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard

Not only does the Federal Trade Commission have reservations about Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. According to Reuters, the European Union has prepared a document confirming the problems of the American company.

The European Commission is said to be another body that sees some problems in the Microsoft and Activision Blizzard deal. Reuters received a message hereunder The European Union has prepared an indictment known as the “Statement of Objections”. – This is where concerns about the largest acquisition in our industry will arise.

However, the situation is very interesting because Microsoft was willing to offer remedies to EU officials to avoid charges and shorten the regulatory process, but this was not expected by officials who have to publicly submit an “indictment” and only in the next step can the manufacturer suggest for Xbox problems.

In this case, Microsoft must react quickly, because the European Union wants to submit the final decision on the deal by April 11th. A spokesperson for the company confirmed that the company is ready to work together to provide more games:

We continue to work with the European Commission to resolve any market concerns. Our aim is to bring more matches to more people, and this deal will further that goal.”
