Every Thursday the European Center for Prevention and Control Chorb It publishes a map showing the number of coronavirus infections reported in a given area. If the 14-day indicator is low, the area is highlighted in green, if it is very high – it is highlighted in dark red.
At this point, all of Poland is marked in green. This means that the 14-day reporting rate is less than 50 per 100,000 population, and the test pass rate is less than 4%. Or the 14-day referral rate is less than 75 and the traffic rate is less than 1%. The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania are also marked with the same colour.
On the other hand, parts of Ireland, France, Spain, and Greece as well as Cyprus are marked in dark red. This color means that the area’s 14-day reporting rate of COVID-19 is 500 or more.
Corona virus outbreak in Poland
In the past day, 197 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Poland. The largest number of patients were registered in the provinces Mazowieckie I Mobulian. Four patients died, including two who had other illnesses. More than 38,000 tests have been conducted for the presence of SARS-CoV-2. In the past 24 hours, 234 people have recovered.
In total, 2,886,079 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Poland. 75,311 patients have died from COVID-19 and 2,655,781 people have recovered.
To date, 3,562,237 vaccines against COVID-19 have been made in Poland. Fully vaccinated people, i.e. those who have taken two doses of Pfizer, Moderna or Astra Zeneki, or one dose vaccinations Johnson & Johnson, there are 1,8309754 people.
