Liverpool are looking to improve their midfield in the near future. Jurgen Klopp is lobbying for Enzo Fernandes, according to respected Italian journalist Niccolo Schirra.

There has been talk for some time of the Reds wanting to sign a new midfielder. Arthur Melo’s loan from Juventus turned out to be completely useless, as he soon picked up an injury.

Jude Bellingham has been linked with Liverpool in recent weeks. The England representative will be the hero of one of the most popular transfers next summer.

However, other European giants, including Real Madrid, are also seeking his services. So it is likely that the Anfield team will decide on another transfer. At least that’s what Niccolo Schirra claims.

Another player who is currently number one on Jurgen Klopp’s wish list, according to an Italian journalist. We are talking about Enzo Fernandez, who showed his amazing team at the World Cup in Qatar.

During the tournament, the Argentine representative got a place in the starting lineup of “Albicelestes” and from the first minute he always played against Poland. At the World Cup, he scored one goal and assisted one.

According to Shera, the “Reds” are ready to spend a lot of money on Fernandez in the summer. The release clause in the midfielder’s current deal with Benfica Lisbon amounts to €120m.
