A stunning eclipse of the Earth's moon from the Orion capsule

The US Space Agency has once again surprised space exploration enthusiasts in an exceptional way. This time we can see the unique phenomenon that it is Earth’s lunar eclipse. It was immortalized by the Orion capsule, which is currently on a mission to fly around the Moon as part of the Artemis-1 mission.

The Earth’s lunar eclipse can only be seen from the perspective of an object moving in space. So now only a space probe or spacecraft is at stake. It is not easy to make a picture of such a phenomenon because The Orion capsule should be an appropriate distance from the Silver Globe And at the same time on one line with these things.

The beautiful We owe the picture to the camera systemwith which the Orion capsule was equipped. They are located in different parts of the car. The cameras on the solar panels can View the capsule from this perspective as if it were photographed by another vehicle. They are used by engineers not only to monitor the space around the spacecraft and detect threats, but also thanks to them, astronomy lovers can see our blue planet from an unusual perspective.

Artemis-1 mission So far it works without any problems. The Orion capsule has already circled the Moon and is now in a retrograde orbit. NASA plans that if the mission continues successfully, it will re-enter Earth’s atmosphere and land in Pacific waters off the coast of San Diego on December 11th.

After landing and checking the capsule, NASA will begin preparing for the Artemis-2 mission. During it, the Orion capsule will orbit the Moon, but it is already on board with astronauts. The historical moment, namely the return of people to the Silver Globe, will take place in 2025 as part of the Artemis-3 mission.

Then the astronauts, including the first woman, go to the Moon in the Orion capsule. It will be launched into orbit atop a Space Launch System rocket. Once they approach the moon, They will move to Starship from SpaceX And they will land him on the roof. NASA is also planning more missions like Artemis-4. It will bring us closer to colonizing the Moon and building the first bases there.
