A lawsuit against Warren Beatty. What is the accusation of the star "Bonnie and Clyde"?
A lawsuit was filed against Warren Beatty in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday. In it, Christina Charlotte Hirsch accuses the actor of forcing her to have sex. This situation was supposed to happen in 1973, when she was only 15 years old.

Warren Beatty has been charged with forcing a minor to have sex. What do we know about the case?

Although Betty’s name is not mentioned in the suit, it is not difficult to identify the actor. The defendant is referred to as the Academy Award-nominated actor for the lead role in the movie “Bonnie and Clyde.”

Christina Charlotte Hirsch, who now lives in Louisiana, says she met Betty on a movie set. He was supposed to pay her “undue attention” and comment on her appearance, and also gave her his phone number. The relationship developed in 1973. She called Betty repeatedly and invited her to his hotel and took her for a ride. He also offered to help her with homework and commented on her sexual appearances several times.

Hirsch wrote in the lawsuit that the defendant “used his position and status as an adult and a Hollywood star to extort sexual relations upon the plaintiff on various occasions (…), ultimately resulting in forced sex with an underage child.” Hirsch, who admits that she was initially excited about the actor’s interest, expects compensation for the psychological and emotional losses. She also notes that as a result of her harassment by Betty, she has difficulty interacting with people who are considered authorities. He also has issues with confidence and control.

Hirsch filed her complaint under California law as of 2019. It opened a three-year window to seek justice for cases involving sexual abuse of children that would otherwise be deemed obsolete. This option expires on January 1, 2023.
