The Michelin Guide rewards thirteen restaurants in its first Canadian edition

The international gastronomic landmark, the Michelin Guide, released its first Canadian edition on Tuesday, September 13, highlighting 74 restaurants in the country’s largest city, Toronto.

Inspectors thus awarded stars to twelve restaurants “Quality food, worth a stop”And two stars for one lucky winner, one “Great food to try”The guide writes.

Multicultural Toronto

Since May, inspectors have been traveling anonymously through culinary establishments in the city, rating restaurants according to a system the organization keeps secret. Among the thirteen winners, if contemporary Italian gastronomy is mentioned, Japanese cuisine is a benchmark with collected stars.

Red Guide has also recognized the quality of gastronomy of 17 other restaurants that are offered at reasonable prices. Three special prizes were also awarded for quality of service, sommelier and cocktail.
