“My dear Quebec relatives, it is with great sadness that I announce that due to the health measures still in force in Canada, unfortunately I will not be able to come and honor my concerts scheduled for September,” the singer wrote on his social networks.

It should be noted that foreign nationals who are not adequately vaccinated are prohibited from entering Canada. However, the singer has decided not to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

“I didn’t take a stand till then as I signed many contracts [la] Kovid, there is no need for me to write to you, after all I feel that this is not the right time to express myself. Also, I have been able to do all the dates by showing my credentials (again PCR test and isolation) internationally since last March,” Jas noted, adding that he has given up trying to get authorization to come to Canada, but in vain.

“We are actively working with our team to announce the postponement dates to September 2023 as soon as possible”, finally reaching a conclusion that was to take place in Saguenay, Quebec, Montreal and Trois-Rivières at the end of September.
