Sebastian Gula heads the Nowe Jaworzno Grupa Tauron, which was created specifically to manage a new unit at the Jaworzno Power Plant. Now the head of the Tauron branch is Paweł Szczeszek, who has been running the parent company of the Katowice Energy Group since April 2022. Previously, he headed Pozna Enea. Gulla remains the head of another company – Tauron Wytwarzanie, which operates the group’s remaining power plants.
– The direct management of the company responsible for operating the 910 MW unit will improve decision-making processes both in the context of tests and tuning the unit in the transitional period, as well as mediation before the Prosecutor’s Office in Ravako – said Szczeszek. – With the current structure of the Tauron group and the division of powers, at the same time managing the work of the boards of directors of the central company and the company managing the block It will also improve coordination in providing carbon fuel to the unit – Head Torun added.
