Prince Harry met with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, on Thursday, during a stopover in the UK on his way to The Hague, where a spokesman learned about the couple.

The pair travel to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games, a war-wounded and disabled sports organization founded by Harry, starting this weekend.
According to various media reports, the couple visited Windsor Castle, about forty kilometers from London, to celebrate their 96th birthday in a few days.
Harry, 37, and Megan, 40, have not been together in the UK since their sensational departure from the royal family two and a half years ago. They now live in California.
Harry, who did not attend the funeral in late March for his grandfather, Prince Philip, who died 99 years ago, was accused by The Sun of rejecting the event and the Queen.
When the couple’s absence was announced at the ceremony, a spokeswoman said they hoped they would meet the Queen soon, whose 70 – year reign will be celebrated in several days of festivities in early June.
The expulsion of the royal family mechanically deprived Harry and Meghan of the police protection they had previously been granted in the United Kingdom at the expense of British taxpayers.
Harry offered to accept the costs and the Interior Ministry challenged in court his refusal to oppose him.
