Vaccinations against covid-19.  USA: Navy to release unvaccinated people

The US Air Force made a similar decision, as it announced on Tuesday that it had released 27 people for refusing to be vaccinated against the Corona virus.

In the US Navy, according to data on Tuesday, there were more than 5.7 thousand unvaccinated sailors, which is approximately 1.65 percent. UPI notified all persons on duty.

Previously, the US Navy set November 28 as the last day on which all active duty personnel must be fully vaccinated.

The dismissed seafarers will not be brought to court, the agency said, but they may be denied educational support or financial rewards. In some cases, she added, those dismissed will have to repay the costs of the financial support they have already received for education.

By Tuesday, the US Navy had received more than 2.7 thousand. Requests for vaccination exemptions based on religious beliefs, but the administration has not approved any of them.

As UPI explains, the US Navy wants all Navy duty personnel to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible.
