"Where the devil cannot send the child there" from 14.10 in cinemas!
Today in Russia they dream of “the West”, as the Poles did 30 years ago. Who remembers those times? “Where the Devil Can’t, He Will Send His Children” is in cinemas starting October 14. And today watched part of the film:
Heathcliff Janusz Iwanowski has been associated with the world of cinematography for over 15 years. He’s behind films like “I’ll Show You”, “Ruding” or “Jerik”. Until now, he was mainly producing and writing screenplays. On October 14, the film “Where the Devil Can’t, There He Will Send the Child – True Stories of Polish Riches”, featuring a group of Polish stars, will be shown in theaters.

My cinematic journey began with the romantic comedy “I’ll Show You”. When I received an offer to produce a sequel to “Never in my life” from Katarzyna Grochola, I was completely environmentally friendly. I learned this profession in practice, working on a total of nine films and four series, so my “film school” cost me more than 50 million zlotys and more than 30 thousand working hours. From the start, I was the producer who was the first to come to the set and the last to leave. It has not changed to this day. I put a lot of inventions into every movie. Most of them are my thoughts the corollary is that I direct them myself — Heathcliff Janusz Iwanowski explains.

“Where the Devil Can’t, There He’ll Send a Child” is a movie based on the facts given behind the scenes to create the greatest Polish fortunes. At a time when store shelves in Poland were empty, four men found a way to earn huge money. Although it may seem like a masculine world, women were really keen on doing business. Main roles played by: Małgorzata Kożuchowska, Dominika Gwit, Agnieszka Więdłocha, Paulina Gałązka, Maciej Zakościelny, Sebastian Stankiewicz, Rafał Zawierucha, Mikołaj Roznerski, Michał Koterski and Pawelicki Mał. This is the debut for Heathcliffe director Janusz Iowanowski, who is also the film’s creator, co-writer, and producer of the film.

Everything we see on the screen really happened, only certain plots were imagined, but almost every scene has its source in reality. Even most of the dialogues are taken from real life. I am talking about something that I either saw with my own eyes or heard from the lips of the heroes and witnesses to these events. There is nothing wonderful there. Not only that, every character from this movie has a prototype. Furthermore, the man played by Rafai Zuricha was also present in our group — Heathcliff Janusz Iwanowski explains.

Do viewers recognize some of the characters by director and producer? I think so. Besides, I also rely on journalists to find out who’s around. I’m convinced that everyone recognizes one character in particular flawlessly – He answers.

Isn’t he afraid someone will blame him for showing his story on the big screen? I am not afraid, because I have carefully prepared for the shooting of this movie and have everything documented. If someone, like one of the heroes of this story, deals with pandering, who is also a public figure, then he should take into account the consequences of his choices, and not take big money for it and pretend that he is doing nothing. wrong – wrong – wronged The truth always comes out sooner or later – Confirms the director and producer.

The premiere of “Where the Devil Can’t, There Will Be Children – True Stories of Polish Fortune” will be shown on October 14 in cinemas.
