Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday at the age of 96. Candles appeared in front of the British Embassy on Qualerie Street. The Mayor of Warsaw, Rafai Trzaskovsky, expressed his condolences to the British.
Less than an hour after Buckingham Palace announced the news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, lit candles began to appear in front of the British Embassy. – When I got there after eight in the evening, some candles were burning in front of the gate. But more and more people flocked. Some of them added more candles, others brought bouquets of flowers – according to tvnwarszawa.pl correspondent Mateus Semlter before 21:00.

The Mayor of Warsaw expressed sympathy for the British. “Great sadness. End of times. Queen Elizabeth II has passed away at the age of 96, after 70 years of reign. Congratulations to our British friends,” Trzaskowski wrote on Twitter.
A special illumination is mentioned in the city profile, which was displayed at the Palace of Culture and Science on the occasion of the platinum jubilee of the Saudi monarch.
