This eclipse will be visible from Poland! Get ready for May 16, 2022...
  • A lunar eclipse occurs when the silver globe comes within the shadow of the Earth being cast into space.
  • This is not a common situation because the Moon’s orbit is tilted off the plane of the ecliptic. This causes her to pass the Earth’s shadow more often.

Previously During the next full moonWhich will take place on May 16, 2022, the situation will be completely different. The lunar disk will sink first into darkness and then into the Earth’s shadow.

The lunar eclipse will be clearly visible from across South America and the southeastern part of North America. A small part of the observers from Poland will also attend. Unfortunately, his observations will require an early awakening, so it is worth getting to sleep early the night before.

Lunar eclipse It will start at 3:32 PST from the midtones stage. The moon will enter the semi-shadow of the Earth, which will not be visible spectacularly. This stage will only be visible in astronomical images.

At 4:27 a partial eclipse will begin, which should be observed in Poland. Then, at 5:29 a.m., the full stage will begin and end at approximately 6:53 a.m.

The end of the amazing part of the show will be at 7:55 AM, and the eclipse will be completely forgotten after 8:50 AM.

On May 16, 2022, we will not notice a total lunar eclipse in Poland. Polish observers must be satisfied with this phenomenon at the partial stage.

The best place to view a lunar eclipse will be southwest Poland, while the worst place is the northeastern part of our country.

In the vicinity of Bogatinia, our natural satellite will not explode until 5:11, which will allow us to observe its disk in the 60% phase of the eclipse. It should be visible to the naked eye. In Suwałki, observers will end their engagement with this spectacle at the semi-shadow eclipse stage.

When preparing for observation, it is worth choosing a place without obstacles on the western horizon. This is because the moon will be absent in the innermost phase of the eclipse.

Observations should begin as soon as possible, because parallel to the progression of the partial lunar eclipse, the sun will rise on the other side of the sky, which makes observation difficult.

The remaining stages of the show will almost certainly be broadcast online. NASA may be one of the organizers of the webcast.

Although a total lunar eclipse covers much larger areas of the world than a total solar eclipse, it has proven elusive for several years.

The last total lunar eclipse occurred in Poland on January 21, 2019, and the next one will occur on September 7, 2025.
