This is surprising, because in recent years such short titles have become extremely rare – especially in cinematic productions. However, the current standard for feature films should not be less than 2 hours.
Hellboy: The Twisted Man – What’s the weirdo?
The project is based on the comic book series of the same name by Mignola and artist Richard Corben. The story takes place in 1950s West Virginia, where Hellboy teams up with a young BPRD agent (Adeline Rudolph) to protect the people of Appalachia from a mysterious demon called Moneylender. He is collecting souls for the demon himself.
The cast also includes Jefferson White ( Yellowstone ) as Tom Ferrell, Leah McNamara as Effie Culp, Joseph Marcell as Reverend Watts, Hannah Margetson as Cora Fisher, and Martin Bassendale as Moneylender. Hellboy comic book writer Mike Mignola wrote the screenplay with Christopher Golden. The two have previously collaborated on comics about the character. Brian Taylor ( Crank ) is behind the camera.
