Is it worth buying the Samsung Galaxy S21 at the end of 2021?
Let’s start with who should buy it. In my opinion, it is currently the best – next to the iPhone 13 – compact phone on the market. It has a great camera, looking at the screen is a feast for the eyes, and the efficiency in everyday work is perfect. If you use your smartphone to communicate, surf the web, watch TV series, and use social media, you will be delighted with it.
However, the Samsung Galaxy S21 has flaws that were not acceptable to me and after half a year I got rid of it on average. The two main reasons were high load temperatures and charging speed. In 2021, it is unacceptable to me that it would take nearly an hour and a half to fully charge a 4000mAh cell – and much more if the phone is overheating.
On hot days, when the temperature exceeded 40 degrees, the phone did not charge after a gaming session at all after plugging it into a 25W charger (you won’t find it in the box. I wrote more about that below. Summarizing – it’s the perfect flagship for the non-demanding.
