Swedar: The British helped evacuate the civilians.  The young men, ages 28 and 48, died

New Zealand resident Andrew Bagshaw and Christopher Barry, from Truro, Cornwall, traveled to Ukraine to provide humanitarian support. The two young men, aged 48 and 28, went missing on January 7. The day before they arrived from Kramatorsk to Solidar.

The Russian mercenary group Wagner later reported that the body of one of them had been found. However, he did not indicate which men he was referring to. Barry’s family has now announced the news of their deaths.

Christopher Barry previously spoke to Sky News and the BBC’s Corniche division about how it is helping and living under constant fire.
