Stephen Yeon to star in 'Minari' in new movie from 'Parasite' author
Stephen Yoon, star of “Minari” and “Flames,” will star in Bong Joon-ho’s latest movie. Yeun previously played the director of “Parasite” in the movie “Okja”. The yet to be named project is Robert Pattinson, Mark Ruffalo, Toni Collette, and Naomi Aki.

Bong Joon is a new movie

Bong Joon-ho’s new project is set to be based on the novel “Mickey 7” by Edward Ashton. The protagonist is the immortal title. One day, Mickey 7 participates in an expedition to colonize the land of ice. Every time Mickey7 dies, his body is born with the most memories. After her sixth death, she began to understand why no one else was chosen for this task.

It is known that Bong Joon-ho’s movie will be based on the plot of “Mickey7”, but its faithfulness has not been determined.

Last year, we saw Yeun in the Academy Award-winning Minari (5 nominations and a statuette of Yoh Jung Yeon as a supporting role), in which he played the head of a Korean family starting a new life in Arkansas. Viewers will surely remember the actor from his roles in “The Walking Dead” and “Flames” by Lee Chang-dong. and “Okjy,” which you can still watch on Netflix.
