Interestingly, there is an old saying in the Polish language “bareizm” that is derived from the name of the master of Polish comedy. It refers to the artistic image of Stanisław Bareja, illustrated with excerpts from his films and statements by directors and actors. Many aspects of the legend’s life are already known, but it turns out that some facts about her have been overlooked by the public. Stanisław Bareja was known not only for his directing genius, but also considered by his friends as one of the best chefs they dealt with. His specialties were, among others: cold soup, borscht, and baguettes. Few people know that the artist was involved in illegal activities, He even involved his children with them.

In 2009, a book was published about the life and work of Stanislav Barija, “Stanislaw Bareja. The King of the Twisted Mirror”, by Maciej Replewicz. Stanisław Tim was one of the writer’s guests, who told him about the director’s life. The 84-year-old actor said of him:
