How efficient will flagships be in 2022? Tests show that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is an incomparably better processor than its predecessor. Wasn’t it possible right away?

Let’s start with AnTuTu, because everyone knows in one way or another what this result means. One million points is the limit that was previously exceeded (but not necessarily average) by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 does it without a problem. Even if we released the standard three times in a row, the magic barrier would be broken every time.

Still, however, in the multi-core Performance then MediaTek Dimensity 9000 wins. By less than 10%, but still winning.
All these considerations lead us to one conclusion – Qualcomm drew conclusions and provided us with a good processor for the flagship. It’s a pity that some have already bought flagship ships in 2022. In the end, we’re just missing out on power performance. Qualcomm says it will be visible to the naked eye. The 30% better energy efficiency is great news for everyone.
