The Brazilian left the Blaugrana at the end of last season. Now he is a player of the Mexican team UNAM Pumas, but the matches there are currently on break.
So Alves is enjoying his vacation in Barcelona. According to the Spanish media, the experienced footballer is in big trouble. He was charged with a serious crime.
According to ABC journalists, the Brazilian was accused of sexual assault. Everything was supposed to take place on December 30, in one of the nightclubs in the capital of Catalonia.
The woman was to testify to the police that Elvis had put his hand under her underwear, touching her private parts. The facility’s security was immediately notified of the incident.
The player pleaded not guilty. The Brazilian’s entourage claims that he had nothing to do with the events described and, admittedly, was in the club, but only for a short time.
The Catalan police have already launched an official investigation. The victim underwent an autopsy in a Barcelona hospital. Time will tell if Elvis really committed the aforementioned crime.
