Ryan Gosling opposite Margot Robbie in Ocean’s Eleven prequel?

Ryan Gosling is negotiating a role alongside Margot Robbie in Ocean’s Eleven’s pre-box office. It will be another joint movie for the superstar duo after “Barbie”, which will be shown for the first time in cinemas next July.

Prequel “Oceans’s Eleven”: movie details

Behind the camera will be four-time Emmy Award winner Jay Roach (“Meet My Parents”, “Austin Powers” series). Carrie Solomon is writing the script for the new “Ocean’s…” series. The film is set to take place in the 1960s in Europe. The project doesn’t even have a title. However, it is known that the numbers “eight”, “eleven”, “twelve” and “thirteen”, used in the titles of the previous parts, are already taken.

Development was funded by Warner Bros. Shooting is expected to begin next spring.

“Ocean’s Eleven” series

The series “Ocean’s…” was started by Steven Soderbergh based on the classic “Risky Game” (1960). The director made three parts of the series about the adventures of a gang of cute thieves, “Ocean’s Eleven: Risky Game” (2001), “Ocean’s Twelve: Extra-time” (2004) and “Ocean’s 13” (2007). The series stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle and Elliot Gold.

In 2018, a sub-series of the “Ocean’s 8” series was launched. Gary Ross was behind the camera and starred as Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Akwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.
