Quebec launches two “vaccination” competitions to promote the vaccine

In conjunction with Lotto-Quebec, two “vaccination” competitions will be offered separately for adults and young people aged 12 to 17 who have been vaccinated.

“This is a competition to reward those who have already been vaccinated, but for those who do,” said Health and Social Services Minister Christian Dube.

To participate in the contest, the population must register on the government portal (quebec.ca/concoursvaccination) It will be available from July 25.

Each week in August, 000 150,000 prizes will be awarded, and a $ 1 million jackpot draw for adults will take place on September 3rd.

“The vaccine competition is an effort to increase the vaccination rate in Quebec in all age groups, while at the same time encouraging young people to catch the first dose by giving attractive opportunities to those who have been vaccinated,” said Minister Dube.

As of July 16, 72.4% of the Quebec population had received a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 45.7% had received two doses.
