Putin’s friend condemns war in Ukraine. ‘Stab in the back for our troops’

This was not the first time Oleg Deripaska had spoken out against the war in Ukraine. At the start of the invasion, he called for a quick end to the conflict. He wrote on social media that it was “a catastrophe that our children will never forgive us for hundreds of years.” However, this was not an unequivocal condemnation. Now he has gone much further, which has been noticed by pro-Kremlin elites.
